Hi,

I have created hyperlinks in my InDesign document to allow users to jump to defined pages and sections. In the 'Edit Hyperlink' dialog box I have the following settings:

Link to: Page

Zoom Setting: Fit View
Character style: [Same style]

When exporting to PDF X-1/A, I makes sure that I include interactive elements but when I open the document in Adobe Acrobat none of the hyperlinks work.

I have tried various options and settings but none have been successful. Please advise.

You'll have to enable 'Create Tagged PDF' in the PDF export window.

Bizarre, but there you are.

Why are you using X/1-a for this? It's based on 20 year old standards. For screen reading export to Interactive PDF.
