Interactive PDFs...after Flash

Hello, 

Will interactive PDFs still be supported after 2020? We use the Show/Hide and Go to Destination button functionality frequently in interactive documents and want to be sure files will still be viable.

Interactive PDFs will work, but only with simple internal hyperlinks and hyperlinks to external sites.Flash is obsolete. No multi-state roll-over buttons.

So no buttons right? For example buttons to navigate to the next page or previous page.

The navigation buttons will still work. As should Show/Hide Fields and Go To Destination—none of that is using Flash.

It's the Flash content (*.flv and *.swf) that is impacted:

I suggest you have "buttons" which are just a shape with a word(s) on it that's hyperlinked to, for example,  another page, such as the Contents page.

It is very important to note that nothing is 100% outside of Acrobat or Reader on a desktop.
