Interactive text box looses text and won't scroll

Hello, I am making an interactive form that people can fill out. In some text boxes they are writing longer text and will need the scrolling option to see it. I selected mutiline and scroll but when I view the PDF in preview it doesn't scroll and the text is lost. When I view the PDF in adobe Acrobrat the texts box does scroll and works great. Many of our customers will not have adobe acrobat. Is there a way to make the text scroll in preview?  I attached a video of what it looks like in preview.

When you export you will notice that you are exporting an Adobe PDF. If it works in Acrobat and/or Reader then it's fine.

Preview may well be the worst PDF reader out there.

Preview will not honor most PDF features.

Here are some workaround options:

- Make form as large as longest possible response

- Offer a download hyperlink to Acrobat Reader (Free) in communication

- Use a web form tool to create the form, especially if form will be accessible on a website

I concur on using a form on a website. Far more powerful than anything you can do with PDF.
