Hello,

On Indesign, I created an ebook with internal (from one point of the ebook to another) and external hyperlinks. When I export it as a pdf, these links all work on my computer.

On mobile, I cannot click anymore on the internal hyperlinks, I mean nothing happen when I click on these links. The external hyperlinks work.

Can someone explain me why?

All the best,

Dan

Simple internal and external hyperlinks (which can be a word or words or an image*) work well in a PDF in the iBooks reader on an iPad and iPhone.

* Rollover buttons won't work.

Beyond Acrobat and Reader on a desktop, interactive PDF is nothing short of a crapshoot.

Too many variables and substandard reader apps out there on mobile and browsers are another weak point.

I wish I had better news.

Hi Dan,

what's your ebook reader on what device?

What kind of ebook did you create?
