Is it possibile to import .SLDASM files into indesign layout?

Can I import this type of file from Autocad? Is there any plug in ?

The question might be what kind of format can you export from Autocad e.g. can you export say JPGs, or might screen shots work?

Not directly, no, but either Autocad or Solidworks has the ability to export formats that do work, like EPS and PDF, as well as some image formats.

I'm advised that these are the formats that can be exported from Solidworks.
