Hello again dear InDesigners!

I am still working on my beloved TOC and am having an issue which is making me want to pull my hair out!!!

So I set up all of my paragraph styles as i was supposed to and it all works very nicely. ONLY ON ONE INSTANCE the text will NOT use the fonts it is assigned to in my paragraph style.

Do I add the very same chapter to my book file, the issue one ONE of the two chapters is resolved.
If I remove the said chapter again, the issue reappears ...

Obviously I will be able to solve the issue manually, if worse comes to worse ..... but I would just LOVE to know that the problem here may be. I am attaching an image, hoping that one of you might know the answer to my problem! What could be going wrong?  On the first instance as you can see on the image, the TOC chapter name doesn NOT accept the assigned font, in the chapter afterwards, it uses it as it is supposed to .... I don't get it ....

Thanks SO MUCH in advance!

desperate greetings

Marie-Claire

Check to see if the source text in the document has a character style applies to it.

Also, it's better to Insert Images rather than add them as attachments. Then they can be viewed without downloading.

I found it!!! It was a nested style in my paragraph style! Not sure why it applied it only to one of the instances though ... BUT anyways ... NOW my TOC looks the way it's supposed to!

A big THANK YOU! 🙂
