Hi,
I have worked on 100s of books in InDesign till now and never found this issue. After importing the text and applying style, the last few letters or part of the last word in the paragraph are coming in italics text and I am not able to remove the italics in any way.
Example: Last Day, each believer stands alone.
Here part of the stands alone is in italics which is the end of the paragraph.
Did anyone encounter this issue before? My book has both footnotes and indexes also.
Thanks and Regards
Eswari
Did you check for any style overrides, character style, grep styles etc. If everything seems fine and still it is italic, try exporting the document to IDML and see if it corrects the issue

As Manan wrote, did you check if there are not any grep style in your paragraph styles?

I missed to check the Nobreak grep style which accidentally got created base style as italic. Thank you.
