01 June 2021. How do I reduce the width of my Paragraph Styles Window~it seems fixed at over 3 inches at the moment, the width arrow is there, but does nothing. I somehow managed to reduce the Pages Window, but cannot reduce the Styles window.

Where has my Font and Text Spacing Header Bar gone? It used to be in Essentials Classic as a toggle option, but is now totally missing.

Hi there,

Sorry to hear about your experience. Would you mind sharing the version of the OS? Are you using an external monitor? Have you tried resetting preferences of the app?

This information would help us assist you accordingly.

Regards,

Ashutosh

Dear Ashutosh

Windows 10 Professional; OS Latest update.

The Font toolbar suddenly reappeared ~ out of nowhere ~ this morning while
working on another file.

But the Styles window still stubbornly refuses to be narrowed.

I like InDesign, I use it as my default word processor because it inserts
fewer hidden nasties than other flagship processors, when you accidentally
hit an error generating key combination.

BUT every update I have to reset my Preferences of Theme Colour, Pasteboard
size, and Workspace, followed by whichever crazy setting some engineer has
inserted this week, like the Fixed Width Styles Window.

please PlEaSe PLEASE tell InDesign to LEAVE ALONE the settings if finds.
Workers all over the World will be saying 'THANK YOU!'

Regards,
Mervyn Waine.
