locate my graph tool

I'm pretty knew to Indesgn and I have a school project that involves making a bar graph. The assignment video shows Idesign being used but I do not have the graph tool anywhere in my workspace? I'm a bit confused. Am I supposed to create it in Illustrator or another place and then continue with Indesign? Please help

InDesign has no graphing tools. Yes, go to Illustrator and create your bar graph there. Afterward, place the .ai file in InDesign.
