Loosing font pasting text between documents

Good Morning,

Copying text from one indesign CC2020 file (attached file A) and pasting in another indesign file (attached file B) font applied to text changes from calibri to minion. Instead pasting in (attached file C) text keeps original applied Calibri font.

I have the 3 indesign files in same folder with "document font" subfolder containing Calibri.

What's wrong in file B?

Thanks!

You have a Paragraph Style applied in A but not in B

Set up your InDesign Styles first.

It's usually best to Place Word docs using the Word Import feature
