Mac Mini Late 2014 w/16GB, just upgraded OS from 10.13 to 11.4.

InDesign won't launch.

Tried to install Creative Cloud app, but gets stuck about halfway through.

Any thoughts??

Thanks.

Hi iChrisChatt,

Please try the mentioned steps:

1. Navigate to Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installer and look for CC desktop, if present run the uninstaller to uninstall it.

2. Navigate to Applications/Utilities and look for Adobe Application Manager folder and Creative cloud folder. If present move to trash and empty it.

3. Navigate to Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE and rename to OOBE.old

4. Download CC desktop from: https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud and try to install again.

Regards,

Romit Sinha

Hi there,

Sorry to hear about your experience. In addition to the helpful suggestion by Eugene, you may also try Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool. Once used, try reinstalling the app. Let us know how it goes.

Regards,

Ashutosh

Thanks for all the suggestions!! I started by updating my version of ID - thought it would update itself being part of CC, but was not the case. Went from 2017 to 2021, and that seemed to work. I do have to resave my files to the new version, but it gives me the opportunity to get rid of old stuff :). Thanks again for the assist.
