Due to my personal needs, I need to add a table header and a table footer to a long table, it is very troublesome and time-consuming..

Hope to help me initialize the table,as follows:

Thank you very much~

---------------------

①Set the first row of the table as the table header,

② Add a new row in the table front, apply the "continuation table" cell style, and set the minimum row height to 5mm. I'm going to put the word "continuation form" in it.

③Next, add a new row at the end of the table, and set its exact row height to the minimum value (1.058mm), bottom border to 0.3mm, and convert toTable Footer.

④The minimum row height of the rest of the table is 7.6 mm

⑤Apply “mytab” table style to the whole table。

Hi,

Are you asking advice on getting the rows to align?

This is quite difficult as every row has to have the same amount of content and each table must have the same number of rows.

You want to read this post by David Blatner on how to set up table continuation headers.

Thank you ~ Peter Kahrel

I see. The header in the first text box is disguised.

If the header needs to be changed, you only change the header of the first text box, and forget the one behind, it will be very dangerous

Hi 喜狼_edny,

I already answered this in one of your other threads a couple of days ago.

But let's see, here two screenshots that give you a solution:

What you said is not what I asked.

They are different.

Is the header in the first text box useless?

How do you make a watch like me?

The file is here

Do you mean a table style perhaps?

Yes, this option to start the header not in the first column or frame is not part of a table style.

So you can apply it only to an existing table.

I see. The header in the first text box is disguised.

It's boring……

Should be:

Skip the first row of the first table instead of the whole header of the first page

I've been there indesign.uservoic.com I made suggestions.

Is this a bug?

It's a missing feature.

Currently it's all header rows or none.
