Max of 5 selected checkboxes at a time

Hello ! I have a list of item to check, on a total of 28. I want 5 of them checked only. Not more. How can I do that using Indesign and Acrobat Pro ? Thanks a lot !!

You can design the checkboxes in InDesign, but neither InDesign nor Acrobat can control the total number of checked checkboxes in a PDF via a built-in feature. I would go ask for scripting help on the Acrobat forum. https://forums.adobe.com/community/acrobat
