Why does Adobe permit having fonts, with no guarantee will be available indefinately?

So much of my original work is lost forever. Luckily, I now know that I can use the Create Outlines option, to keep my work intact for years to come.

It isn't Adobe's responsibility to make sure that fonts are installed on your system or that they will be available indefinitely somehow. License the fonts, install them, and make backups - frequently - and you shouldn't have any issue!

Some of the fonts in Adobe Fonts are licensed from other font manufacturers and aren't "Adobe's" fonts.

When that license agreement expires, the foundries can remove their fonts from the Adobe Fonts service.  Adobe really doesn't have any control over who's in or out of the agreement.

Last year, three foundries removed their fonts from Adobe Fonts and they are no longer available through the Creative Suite app. However, you do have the option of purchasing them directly from the foundry. There are millions of fonts. Are you saying Adobe should have all of them, for everyone, all the time?

By the way, converting to outline may be a terrible idea as you can never change the text, and quite a lot of people need to edit their designs.
