Missing links with external server

Hi,

I have an question about the use of Indesign and a external server. Im currently a freelancer and when i go to the office with my laptop (Mac) and connect with the server, i want to open a Indesign file but there are always missing links.. It seems that my Indesing wont search in files trough the external server? how do i fix this? can it be fixed? it take a lots of time to re-link every image...

Do the package, store it on your shared folder and work with it.
