Mouse cursor not aligned in Adobe InDesign after Big Sur installed

I just installed Big Sur (11.2.1) on my 2017 iMac (3.5 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5, 16GB 2400 MHz DDR4). I'm working in InDesign CC 2021 editing text and when I click with the cursor, the position is off by one character. This is rather annoying. Is there any way to reset the settings to fix this issue?

LATEST

I'm running Big Sur 11.2.1 and InDesign CC 2021.

If you haven't updated already, update InDesign 2021 to 16.1. That may or may not fix the problem.

If the problem happens with just one file, there could be corruption. Try saving the file as IDML (File > Save As > InDesign CS4 or Later [IDML]. Reopen the IDML  to see if the problem is solved.

If it happens with more than one document, try restoring InDesign's preferences and caches:
