I just began teaching myself InDesign, and I'm presently practicing by designing a thank-you card. Well, I inserted a frame, similar to the screenshot below, but I'm not sure how to insert the "Thank you" within it.  I'll post a screenshot of what I want to do. How can I do that?

Thank you.

You can create a frame fill it with white and put a type layer on top and place them both on top of your black frame.

You'll probably have to use in In Design Object > Arrange to order the layers in the correct order.

Drag out a text frame just large enough for the "Thank you" and set the frame fill to Paper – the default fill color is None (transparent).

You can also place a regular Paper filled rectangle on top of the frame and under the text.
