Need To Assign Multiple Spreads To InCopy Assignments

I use InDesign and IncCopy a lot for laying out training manuals that are between 100-250 pages. When I'm ready to export my Stories and Graphics, I make two subfolders - one for Stories and the other for Graphics. Then I make Assignment files with the intent of adding 50 pages to a particular Assignment. Example: Assignment 1 will get pages 1-49; Assignment 2 will get pages 50 - 99, etc.

The part that is slowing me down is, I'm having to manually select everything on a spread and then add that to an Assignment. Since InDesign doesn't support selecting beyond a spread, I have to do this one spread at a time.- select all, add to Assignment, move to the next spread and repeat this.

Ideally, I'd like to tell InDesign to grab everything from pages 1-49 and add it to Assignment 1 and repeat this for the remaining Assignment files.

Is this possible?

It's only an island if you look at it from the water.
