Do you want to add grep styles to existing paragraph styles?

For my part I normally use one "base" paragraph style. All other paragraph styles based on this one. If I want to add some properties - I simple add this property to my "base" style.

Hi @bala5FF4:

There isn't a copy/paste option—within InDesign's feature set—for GREP styles between paragraph styles. You can rebuild them in each new style or follow @pixxxelschubser's advice. When you base styles on a parent style, it allows you to share formatting instructions. And if you see a mistake a few days down the road, you can modify the parent style and it will roll through to the child styles. It's a more efficient way of working.

For those who don't take time to read Colin's blog, his Script "grepstylemap.jsx" is here:

Run it! … and:

Choose the para style source (where the Grep styles to be copied are) + OK, then choose the targets (the para styles where you want to paste the Grep styles) + OK.

So simplistic but some clicks to be done!  =D
