Hi, I need to be able to switch languages in InDesign CC documents, from Swedish to Hebrew. This means that I need to be able to change the writing direction from left to right and vice versa. The support page says there should be a symbol in the paragraph panel for this, but there is no such symbol in my version of InDesign which is only a few months old. How can I get hold of it? Please help me!
I attached a picture showing what the panel is supposed to look like.
Hi Bella,
There is a different Indesign You need to install through Creative Cloud window, "תומך עברית".
There You have all the options of right-to-left.
Maybe this will help You:

Hi Haggay,
Thank you for your answer. I find it a big nuisance that this leads to an English version of the user interface instead of my local language (Swedish) on all menus and panels. Adobe really should make it possible to have the chnge of writing direction included in all versions, not in just the Middle Eastern one. This is therefore a serious suggestion to Adobe to fix this!!
As is it, I decided to scrap the possibility to write in Hebrew in InDesign, in favour of keeping my Swedish interface. Sadly, but there it is.
