New Indesign not creating new documents?

Does any one else have this issue. I jsut updated my apps and without constantly restarting the app i cannot create new documents?

I'm not experiencing this. Could you please tell us what operating system you're running? Maybe some information on your graphics card?

macOS Catalina 10.15.7
Graphics Card Radeon Pro 560X
Intel UHD Graphics 630

It seems intermittent. But not sure why it is happening.
