My Mac is on the fritz, possibly bricked by a Catalina update. That’s another story. I was loaned a Macbook Pro from a friend. It has CC installed. I updated all programs then tried to open an old InDesign file. InDesign launches and the menus look normal. If I open a file I get font warnings and the temp file is created in the file’s directory. But then the temp file disappears and InDesign hows no open documents. The menus are still accessible. If I try to crete a new document I get the stndard new document dialogue but no file is created. Command-Option-N does nothing.
This is a 2015 Macbook Pro with retina display running Mojave and InDesign 15.1.1.
NM. Fixed it with a restart.
