Hello,

I am using InDesign for the first time and I switched from Illustrator. I am on Mac and when I use Illustrator and want to use the Polygon tool, i just force touch on the Rectangle tool and the menu with the Elipse tool and the Polygon tool opens up. This however doesn't work in InDesign. Is that a bug or a feature?

I know I can access the menu by Control Clicking the Rectangle tool or I can cicle through it by Option Clicking, however the Force Touch way is much more convinient... Is there a way to make it work?

Thanks!

A long press still works for me.

Mac 11.2.2

InDesign 16.1

You might try rebuilding preferences/cache.

Hi there,

Sorry to hear about your experience. In addition to the response given earlier, you may also try suggestions given on this community post(https://community.adobe.com/t5/indesign/resolve-slow-performance-and-unexpected-behavior-of-indesign...) if you have similar issues in the future.

Hope it helps.

Ashutosh
