Hello, I've found quite a few older posts asking for this so am hoping it's easy. I'm using a numbered list for my sections and want the running header to pick up the numbering (see attached).
Seems like something a lot of people need to do to avoid manual handling on long documents but I can't find any information. I don't need to split the document into a book for any reason.
I'm also trying to find a way to do it with Section markers but you can't use nested styles so I lose the 2 colour formatting I need. I can do it by changing section titles but if sections are added down the track everything has to be updated manually and it seems like a clunky way to handle it. Feel like I'm missing the obvious simple solution.
