Packaging Indesign files no longer working

I keep getting an error message when I try to package an InDesign file. It says: "This document contains links to files/urls that are not accessible." But in the links panel, nothing is broken or out of place. This only happened with the most recent upgrade. Is anyone else experiencing this? Help!

Could the problem be images that are located on a server?

in the link palette, you can copy the links manually, it's under Utilities. Select all the links, and copy them to the collect folder.

Export your file to IDML File>Export and pick IDML - open that - then save it as an InDesign file.

Try package it.

Which OS are you using? If you're on a Mac and have updated to the latest Mac OS (Catalina), you may need to update your Security and Privacy preferences - see https://community.adobe.com/t5/indesign/indesign-2019-not-working-properly-on-mac-os-catalina/td-p/1.... Go to the last post in the thread for details.

I am experiencing the same problem. Still have Mojave or is Mohave? So it is not the Mac OS causing this. Definitely an InD bug.

Hi there,

Sorry to hear about your experience. Would you mind sharing version of InDesign? Have you tried suggestion given by Eugene earlier?
Have you tried checking all placed documents? Do they have hyperlinks within? Are they updated?
Please check how you can manage hyperlinks using help article https://helpx.adobe.com/indesign/using/graphics-links.html

Hope it helps.

Regards,

Ashutosh
