Page transitions not working when exported as interactive PDF

Page transitions in indesign document are not working when exported to interactive PDF.

Before commenting, here are the things I have tried:

1)  I have tried full screen mode in Adobe Acrobat and Indesign

2) I have the most current version of both Adobe Acrobat and Indesign

3) Tried variety of page transitions

4) Tried applying page transitions in Adobe Acrobat and still only get it in full screen mode.

What InDesign version? What operating system?

I'm using InDesign CC 2018. I'm running macOS 10.13.

I created some transitions in InDesign, and they are correctly exported to the PDF file. I can view them in the Page Thumbnails in Acrobat:

However, they don't preview correctly in Full Screen in either Acrobat Pro DC or Acrobat XI Pro.

I suspect that it's a High Sierra (10.13) bug.
