I have a document that contains multiple spreads.

I have set up page numbers in a text box.

I then changed the start page to, say, 38 .... the actual document shows the correct page number on each page, but in the pages panel, it's still showing as starting at Page 1.

Why is this?

Go to the Preferences > General > Page Numbering and make sure you chose "Section numbering"
