I encountered an unusual problem. While working on a layout I apply a set of paragraph styles such as heading, article body, paragraph tab, quote, etc. Then I run a number of automated checks to remove multiple spaces etc. I often see that after that my paragraph styles are not applied correctly. And they seem to shift one forward so that article body becomes the heading etc. Does anyone have an idea what might cause this interference?

@Barb Binder thanks for bringing me in the right direction. I ran each command one by one checking which one was causing the problem and I found out which one that was! I think the problem is solved.

Hi @amolenda:

What do you mean by "automated checks" exactly?

I mean queries in 'find and replace'.

And the paragraph styles are sliding up?
Can you share before/after you run whichever specific query is doing this, with Find/Change open and the query that is causing this, visible?
