You can add page transitions in Acrobat, which work when the PDF is viewed in full screen mode. Tools> Organize pages> More> Page transitions, however, some people might be alarmed when their PDF opens in full screen mode and it's not immediately apparent how to turn it off. Also, if you want the page flip effect, this is not one of the 15 Acrobat page transition options and some people might find it tiresome.
