When copying text styles from one cell to another with the eyedropper tool, I can't manage to apply it to multiple cells, I have to go one by one; previous versions would let me do it (I'm on v16.0.1)

Thanks!

Hi defaultihg9q4vo583t,

what was the previous versions where it worked?

Don't think it ever worked, at least I'm not aware how this should have worked.

I like to know how it once worked for you in a previous version.

Can you give a step-by-step discription what you exactly did?

Or record a little video to show it, put in on Dropbox or a similar service and post the download link.

Thanks,
Uwe Laubender

Hi @defaultihg9q4vo583t:

Have you considered saving the formatting from the text in one cell as a paragraph style? You can assign styles to multiple selected cells.

Even better, if someone changes the format requirements after you assign them, you can just edit the style definition and it will be InDesign's job—not yours—to locate and update all occurrences.
