Hello,
I'm not sure the best spot to post this. But let's say I have an indesign document, that looks like this:
And I have a word document Im pulling from that looks like this:
For many issues of this magazine, I've been painstakingly copying and pasting each bit individually to retain the styling in the InDesign document. But there has to be a better way.
Is there a way to be able to copy the entire list from that word document, into InDesign, and have the names/locations/info all retain their set styling?

Also, this will works wit paragraph style only.
On a side note: It’s a bad habit to style paragraphs using character styles.

Yu always seems to have the same amount of paragraph. So create a separated paragraph style for each paragraphs, then use the “Apply __ then Next Style” on your imported word document.

Can you tell me more about that? I have each style set in my character styles.
