The subject line may sound confusing, but it may just be the way I'm stating it. What I'm trying to do is place text on a graphic that is contained in a frame that has a text wrap. I'm trying to create some common figures that can be used in multiple documents. I want to drop the figure in the text and have the text jump the figure. But it seems as though the defined text wrap is preventing me from adding text (captions) to the graphic. Any assistance is greatly appreciated!!

You need to select the caption text frames and choose Object > Text Frame Options, then check Ignore Text Wrap.

Then they will not be affected by the wrap.
