When trying to print a PDF exported from InDesign, the text is not printing correctly. The text on the print out is alternating between the intended gray and an unintended black. The text appears correctly when viewed in Acrobat, and printing directly from InDesign does not cause the issue. Does anyone know if this is an issue with InDesign or with Acrobat?

It seems like a printer problem. If it is inkjet are the nozzels all clear? Or if its laser is the toner low?

I tried printing on a different printer at home yesterday afternoon using the same file, and the issue did not happen. I think that it probably is something with the printer. Thanks for the reply!
