Problems with text wrap and anchoring

This might be basic, but I'm at a loss.  I've placed my images and set up text wrap, but when I try to anchor it to a paragraph, the first line of the paragraph won't wrap but disappears behind the image.  The rest of the paragraph does just fine...it's only the first line.  Any ideas?

Mike asked: "Where did you put the anchor?"

Laura answered: "…at the beginning of the first line of text"

Hi Laura,

that's exactly how this feature is built.

Text wrap works on all lines below the line of the anchor character.

A solution would be to give the anchor character its own paragraph.

Insert an extra line ('return') above the first line of your text and anchor it there, see also Uwes reply 😉
