Hi Patrik,

how did you install PostScript Type1-fonts on Windows 10?

As a solution you could move the font files to the Fonts folder of your InDesign Application folder.

Or you could try to use a Document fonts folder where all InDesign documents that are in the parent folder can detect and use the fonts in that folder.

And: What's the exact version of your Windows 10 ?

Uwe Laubender

Did you install the fonts for all users? Have you tried installing in the private Adobe fonts folder?

Finally, Adobe has announced they will drop support for Type 1 fonts sometime in 2021 so if I were you, I'd start looking for OpenType versions of those fonts.

Going from Type1 to Opentype has been a continous work for many, many years, but sometimes there is some old projects that's need refreshing. Didn't know about the support, good to know. Thanks.

The announcement in terms of dropping support for Type 1 fonts in 2021 was made with regards to Photoshop, not any other application.

Type 1 fonts have been a problem for years. If you really need them, then put them in the InDesign/Fonts folder.
