Hello,
I was searching for an unsaved previous version of my indesign file. I found the following link:

https://sites.google.com/site/repairindesigndocuments/indd-blogs/howtorecoverunsavedfilesinadobeinde...

I am now in the folder thats written in the article, but I can not open the file with indesign?
Can someone help me how I can open a file in the recovery folder?

Thank you!!

If the file is gone, it's gone. To restore previous versions of a file, it's best to work in a Onedrive or Dropbox folder.

Take it as a lesson learned.

Again, this would have been one click to restore any version in Onedrive or Dropbox. I'm sorry you lost that file, but again, it's a lesson learned.

Always work in an environment that keeps versions automatically.
