Hello,
My ID file has crashed and I'm unable to open it at all. It only raises a crash report option which I have sent to adobe twice. Does anyone know of any other way to recover the file on your computer? I have an Asus VivoBook Flip 14.

I'm not being facetious, but you need to make regular, incrementally named, backups of your InDesign documents, both internally and externally.
