Ok. So I’m formatting a picture book for both kindle and Ingram spark. It’s a full bleed book and Ingram spark requires a .125 blank border on the inside of the page. Kindle doesn’t. Plus the two book sizes are slightly different with Ingram Spark (IS) being 8.0x 8.0 and Kindle being 8.5 x 8.5

So I created the book in 8.0 for IS with a layer in the master pages containing the .125 border on the inside of each spread. When I had the layout almost complete, I saved as a second document for Kindle. Except the insider blank border won’t disappear. I’ve deleted the layer containing those elements and they still appear on the pages.

Kindle has rejected the file and now I may not have the white border, but I have a repeat of the existing page contained in that border area instead.

Question: How do I clear this inside border and/or any trace of it?
