Search and replace for interactive hyperlinks?

Is there a way to replace http with https for all the interactive hyperlinks within an INDD book without having to open each one in the hyperlinks palette and edit it?

I've attempted to do this through search and replace but it doesn't find the hyperlinks.

Thanks!

Have a look at the following thread, it changes the URLs of all the hyperlink in the document. This should give you an idea. You will have to change the code a bit with getting the URL string after HTTP:// and then append it to https://

Thank you for your reply but unfortunately I have no idea what any of that means.

Each URL (well over a thousand) in my document is unique and they each link to their unique page on the same website.

But the website has changed from http to https, so I need a way to change just that portion of every unique URL.
