Setting image to multiply but have it ignore certain layers

I am working on bottle labels. I want to have all objects in a group (live copy, shapes, linked .ai graphics) to take on the 'gold foil" texture from an image I have placed. I put everything I want to have the 'gold foil' texture in a group and set the group to isolate blending. I put the 'gold foil' image on top in the group and set it to multiply. Everything in the folder looks good and has the foil effect. But what I want is for the other layers to not show the foil effect at all.

Basically I want a layer mask for everything in my group, like in Photoshop/Illustrator. Is there a way of doing this by keeping everything (especially the live type) in InDesign?
