some photos will not select

On some photos I can't select them. all choices are greyed out. So can't choose move to front etc. works fine on the rest. So Prperties panel says no selection.

I have four like this.All the rest are fine.

I can't find a way to undo this.When I zoom in I do not see any icons except on the header (still have to fix that  and the page number on the master)

It could also be a case of the image being behind some other object. You can try the following two things that might work

  • Cmd + click over the image, till you are able to select the image
  • Locate the image in the layer panel and select it from there
