Stroke under headline always with specific length (cannot be accomplished with right indent)

Hi,

I work in InDesign CC.

I have a headline where I want a small horisontal stroke beneeth.

My problem is that when I specify a right indent it will result in different lengths of my stroke when my column has another width which it does sometimes.

Ok Anita,

you want to have the rule with fixed length?

take a look here (Laubender's answer)

Have you try to set your width rule on "Text" instead of "Column"?

Hi Vladan,

Yes, it does not do what I want. The stroke length is then different if my column changes width.

Can you post here one screenshot and maybe I can understand better your issue?

If you choose "Width" - "Text", the rule length is always equal as your headline length and not depend of column width
