I have a little problem, when I do not have character styles or paragraph applied, it displays the text all in blue, does anyone know how to remove it?

Turn off the Style Override button in the Paragraph Styles panel (circled):

Uncheck the small [a+] icon in the paragraph style panel. It highlights all the changes applied on aparagraph style (in this case, the Basic paragraph)
