I have a dilemma with a client asking for a survey form with two different types of ranking in the same form.

The first part id easy,

The second part with a list that needs ot be rearranged eithe ranually or by number ranking is beyind my skillset.

See pdf with explanation and a tentative lay-out.

It is meant to mailed out as an interactive pdf (for example).

What you're describing would best be done with an HTML form on a website. There are any number of excellent plugins for this.

It's certainly not something you'd be able to do with InDesign.
