Hi All,

Thanks in advance for any help.

I'm Looking for a way (script?) to take a list of names and order numbers in something like excel.

Dynamically add names to a designated part of an image and save the output with the order number as file name ( ideally into dropbox by desktop is ok).

Any suggestions?

Sounds like a task for Data Merge. There are numerous tutorials online. You use csv or txt for the input file, rather than xlsx. The output part would have to be done separately.

Import and export, InCopy workflow, Scripting

Hello Gary,

What is the output of the individual files? Indesign documents? pdfs?

Regards

Mike

For saving the output with the order number as filename, you'd probably need a script. Mine isn't free, but does just what you're asking for: https://www.id-extras.com/products/extract-pages/
