Text box disappears wile typing in InDesign on macOS Big Sur

Can anyone tell me why text boxes diappear when I'm typing in info...Text boxes reappear when I either scroll out of the page or move to another page and pop back into the page I'm editing....I'm using a mac mini - macOS Big Sur...Can someone help?

This has been reported by several people. Sounds like some kind of graphics display bug that was introduced with 16.3.x.

Problem arisen again...it clearly isn't a text wrap issue....this doesn't happen on my iMac...I'm using a mac mini...Any more thoughts anyone?

I am getting the same issue. I had the problem with an M1 Mac Book Air and solved it by turning off GPU checkboxes. But in my M2 desktop, this doesn't work on the latest version of the software. Old version of software doesn't work either. Adobe - this is an absolute mess. 8 months and you come up with this? Why do I even pay you?

Sorry about the trouble. It would be really helpful if you could please share a few more details like:

• The exact version of InDesign? If you are not on the latest version of InDesign, I recommend updating to the latest version, i.e. v16.3.2, and let us know if the issue is resolved or not.
• Are you using the M1 Mac mini?
• Is the issue happening on a specific document? If yes, could you please share that document with us? You can upload it to the Creative Cloud (https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/help/share.html) and share the download link here or via DM.
• Where are you saving the files (Network Drive/ System HDD/ Shared Folder on System /External HDD)?
• When did this start happening? Are there any recent changes made to your system? For example, any antivirus, system updates, or web extensions installed recently.
