Hi everyone, myself and my team seem to be having a recurring issue with certain Indesign files.

We will create a text box within a document, fill it with text, format it and save the Indesign file to our network server.

However on odd occasions when re-opening the document, the formatting within the text box will have changed dramatically and the content of the text box will be completely different to what was originally there.

Has anybody else had this issue before? And if so, how did you solve the problem?

Hi Neil,

does the false content of the text frame tell you something?
Was this content the one saved with a previous version some time in the past?

Or did perhaps two people open the same document at the same time?

Edits were done on both sides. However the edits or the version of document "wins" that were saved last?

Regards,
Uwe Laubender
