Hi,
I use a PC at work but have an iMac at home. Can I work in InDesign on the Mac from home and then open the files on the PC?
At work they have said I need to get a special lead to mirror the PC screen on my Mac at home so that I am using the Mac as a monitor. Not sure how this works. Does anyone know?
thanks
Mai

Files are cross-platform. All you need is the fonts, some fonts don't work on PC and Mac.

Ensure you have the same version of InDesign on each platform and use OTF fonts.

Hi, you've been answered. Only .otf fonts suit for the two platform. Otherway, you'll be in trouble.

You can work on both 😉 Just be careful of special fonts. If it's Adobe fonts no problems.
check you acount, you need to be connected with the right one and all will be fine.
