I am copying and pasting Arabic text into inDesign from Word.
However the text doesnt seem to look the same. When I translate it to English it is correct from inDesign but when I export it into a PDF it doesn't translate the same which is strange as it is the same.
I have set my inDesign to English-Arabic.
Any way around this?

Change to the ME version of InDesign.

And you'll need to have it Right to Left.
The reason for installing the ME version of the software is that if it's a booklet you have the binding set to Right to Left also.
Let me know if you have any queries, I do this sort of thing regularly.

Hi. I have done this, when I copy and paste there is still some things that dont look the same. But when I copy and paste from indesign into translator it works. But as soon as I export it and then copy and paste from the PDF the translation isnt right. Which is weird as it's the same text.

What font are you using, some don't have the diatrics and glyphs - so there might be something going on there.
