Hello!

I would like to print some indesign pages in rice paper. Though can the whole indesign page be, for example 20%, transparent, in order to have the same effect in a pdf presentation?

Thanks

Hm… That cannot be simulated directly with InDesign.

You could export the pages to PDF and open and render them with PhotoShop to layers.

That would give you the chance to apply transparency and the fabric of the paper and to flip the contents of some layers if your original job is to print to both sides of the rice paper.

Or you place the exported PDF pages in InDesign and work with the Effects panel plus a placed scan of the rice paper to get a simulation.
